Abstract

Research on the injection water chemistry change as a enhanced oil recovery method, and how the effect of ions while executing this process at the sandstone reservoirs and carbonated , are interesting topics and challenge the oil industry . This method which known as the smart water technique, it includes ion composition change and / or salinity of injection fluid to improve efficiency factor from oil reservoirs. This method in the form of the picked up proliferation tertiary methods proliferation harvest is proposed. Despite extensive studies in this context, the general consensus on how to the performance and active mechanisms in this process hasn’t been achieved that major its reason is complexity and difference in water/ oil/ rock system in various reservoirs.

In this study for the usability of the results from sample of oil and water of Kerenge reservoir and resulting carbonated stone was used of the reservoir faces. Extensive tests are designed and implemented in field of contact angle.

The results of this study showed that dominant mechanism of the method for Kerenge oil reservoir is changing wettability and also on the basis of conducted observations, proposed a mechanism for changing wettability of carbonated level. Proposed parameter to optimization of injection water chemistry in hydrophilic carbonated reservoirs, salinity and in oil reservoirs, ion composition has been detected.
